Trekking

We have specially mapped out a selection of trekking routes for you, which demonstrate the incredible diversity of the ever-changing landscapes in our valley. Walks vary from low impact to higher intensity, so you can choose at your leisure how you wish to explore this untouched part of Bali. We provide complimentary maps and filtered spring drinking water for any walk you wish to partake in.

The Red and Green walks can be self-guided, however we do recommend you take a local guide to help you understand the diversity of the surrounding food forests, with bountiful fruits, seeds and medicinal plants, in addition to exploring the tropical wildlife.

For those of you who wish to test your fitness, there are sporty treks through the rainforest and up Mount Batukaru, with incredible vistas of far reaching Balinese cities, jungle and even the sea. Our expert guides are trained and certified by the Sarinbuana Trekking Guides Association (STGA), which authorises them to conduct Batukaru forest treks. So you are always in good hands.
