First guests rave about Bali Eco Stay

Posted on March 26, 2011 at 6:45 AM

Since opening its handmade doors to guests on December 27th, 2010, Bali Eco Stay has blown away visitors. "Peaceful, authentic and beautiful" writes Gabriella Salmon, among the first to stay in Rice Water Bungalow. The first family of six who stayed in the Harvest Bungalow left saying, "All our expectations were exceeded and we will be back."

With every greeting beginning with an infectious smile, you cannot help but fall in love with this dreamlike place. Bali Eco Stay is a place to relax, rest, rejuvenate and quieten your mind, body and soul, whilst you breathe in nothing but fresh air from the lush greenery encompassing you.

It took eight months to build the Eco Stay in its entirety. The three bungalows, which can accommodate between two to six people, are built with intricate detail, aesthetically pleasing views, and vast amounts of space to leisure in. They are quite open on all sides, which allows for a free flowing breeze. Each bed is covered by romantic nets for sleeping and the small skylights placed within the ceiling allow for plenty of light.

Bali Eco Stay uses the first hydro-electricity system of its kind in Bali to power the property. The new Eco Stay is pioneering this new way to the future of sustainable vacations on the Island.

If you are in the mood for delicious food, head to Kupe Kupe; the restaurant just a stone's throw away from your bungalow. Enjoy your meals overlooking the organic rice fields whilst listening to the soothing sounds of Balinese music.

A hidden gem, it is the ‘off the beaten path’ traveller's ideal vacation: a perfect package for the environmentally conscious while spoiling yourself at the same time.  Yes!  You can have it all.

"I just spent two nights in heaven, I feel completely reborn, I am awe struck at the magical power of  living water, I have been drinking fresh spring water that tastes so good, I am humbled that a glass of clean water from the earth is so rare…I also swam in the waterfalls and truly feel renewed an amazing place." Celia, marinefoundation.org
